The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States. NSBE, founded in 1975, supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology.

NSBE’s mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

During the 49th Annual Convention our chapter President, Kaila Wilson, was able to represent NSBE Kansas City on KC KCTV 5! She was able to spread the word and inform viewers about our mission and impact. We could not be more proud of the work she has done this last year that has included reactivating the chapter and to creating engaging events and increasing our membership. Chapter Membership

$50 ANNUALLY
To become an official Chapter Member, membership dues must be paid annually. These funds assist with programs, events and scholarships.

National Membership

$50 ANNUALLY
To become an National Member, you will need to sign up on NSBE.org and then register for the proper membership.
